New aspects of siglec binding specificities, including the significance of fucosylation and of the sialyl-Tn epitope

The siglecs (sialic acid-bindingimmunoglobulin superfamilylectins) are immunoglobulin
superfamily members recognizing sialylated ligands. Most prior studies of siglec specificities
